What do you think about the ongoing digitization?

Robots are still being created as helpers. Work is being done to make them look like humans, rather than machines. Will avatars replace humans? Do we then perhaps no longer know whether we are humans or machines?( "The world at the wire" "Brave new world" "1984”) Are programmers the gods of the future?
